Primary-source research
Use for a research question assigned within the planning step. Start with the repository's authoritative documents and source. For external facts, use only read or research tools that the owner has admitted to this session and respect their budget and egress policy. Prefer the official specification, documentation, or source repository that owns a claim. Record a source location and the observed version or date when behavior may change; label inferences and unresolved facts.
Put concise findings and citations in the planning response so the Plan can use them. Do not spawn a background agent, save a research file, fetch through an unassigned channel, or treat research as an owner-approved design decision. If evidence cannot be obtained within the assigned access, state the gap.
