Summary

Publish v0.3.0 with 18 optional single-role instruction packages adapted from the owner's personal skills, alongside the two existing v0.2.0 defaults. The additions cover six Planner, ten Implementer, and two Reviewer procedures. Each package declares one role and step and contains only SKILL.md, declared text resources, and a digest manifest. The README lists their assignments; NOTICE.md records upstream Matt Pocock and Jo Van Eyck MIT provenance. No plugin text, code, or assets are redistributed.

The owner workflow, scripts, Git lifecycle, provider effects, and inter-agent dispatch were removed from role guidance. RelayView issue #859 tracks the deferred owner-capability audit. The release tag v0.3.0 resolves to source commit 063d12bfb39400c81bc69a86a31b3bb6a55cf9b1.

Evidence

  • Before: the new per-package role/step test failed for each not-yet-created package during the sequential migration.
  • After: all 18 migrated packages pass the role/step and package-content checks. The archive test covers every published package and the starter; script, executable, undeclared-file, permission, and wrong-role cases still fail admission.

Checks run

python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v
git diff --check

Observed at 063d12bfb39400c81bc69a86a31b3bb6a55cf9b1: 11 tests passed; diff check produced no output. The product's source verifier independently matched this tag and every bundled package/archive byte.

Ablation decision

not_required: explicit operator-selected guidance with no automatic quality routing.

Documentation disposition

updated: README names package roles, steps, opt-in behavior, and release support; NOTICE preserves source provenance. Product authoritative admission documentation is updated in the paired PR.

Merge Danger

Door: Two-way for future selection; the release tag is immutable provenance and any correction needs a new tag.

Blast Radius: Public instruction packages and consumers choosing these optional roles. No executable helpers or owner authority change.

Reviewer prerequisites

Python 3 standard library and this source checkout. No provider account or running owner is needed.

Manual Test Plan

  1. Action: Inspect packages/code-review/SKILL.md, packages/research/SKILL.md, packages/tdd/SKILL.md, and packages/c4-diff/SKILL.md with their manifests.

Expected: Reviewer, Planner, and Implementer guidance stays within its declared role and contains no workflow command, script, credential, or cross-agent execution. Stop if any package claims owner authority.

  2. Action: Run the commands under Checks run in this checkout.

Expected: 11 tests pass and git diff --check produces no output. Stop on a package admission failure.

Installed owner selection, restart, and the Gitea workflow are covered separately by #612/#218.

Post-Merge Cleanup

Retain immutable v0.2.0 and v0.3.0 tags. Clean up the review branch only after the product pin is reconciled.

Current-head addendum: source PR head and public v0.3.1 tag are 12dc0d5505eed4136e046b4a76e121bbb8c5fe94. This adds tdd-auto as an instruction-only Implementer/implementation package while retaining the manual tdd package from v0.3.0. The earlier v0.3.0 source and notices remain unchanged.

At this exact head, python -m unittest discover -s tests -q passed 12/12 tests and git diff --check 063d12b...HEAD produced no output. The product verifier cloned the published v0.3.1 tag and matched the package bytes, source commit, package identity, and archive digest to the bundled lock at product head ed880fcf4c6f363648f7dafc83a6fcd709138e8e. The separate standards/spec review of the new source commit found no actionable findings. Documentation disposition remains updated; ablation decision remains not_required for explicit operator assignment.
